The Provence is the perfect holiday location in the South of France

Situated right at the end of a country lane amid the olive groves and vineyards, we found luck because we are actually the only house on the river itself. There are several other houses nearby, but you cannot see them or be seen) from the house or grounds.

Our very local centre is Sillans la Cascade, a sleepy, soulful un-commercialised little provencal hilltop village, which is just a 20 minutes walk. With a population of 297, it has a couple of cafes, a boulangerie, a village shop and one of the best restaurants in West Provence.

The Mediterranean at St Raphael is just under an hour’s drive, with the Alps the same distance in the opposite direction. Aix en Provence, Nice, Cannes and St Tropez are all just over an hour away, with Avignon, Monte Carlo & and the Italian border just under two hours.

A whole range of boating and water facilities are available during your holiday at the Lac de St Croix and the breath-taking Gorge du Verdon, both of which lie 20 minutes/half an hour to the north of Le Reve.
